The lawn surrounding the Bike Barn will be littered with bikes, parts, and supplies for three days this week – with every item at least 35 percent off.
It’s the Bike Barn’s 40th annual yard sale. In addition to everything being 35 percent off, select items will be 40 to 50 percent off.
While typically there is roughly eight staff working at a time, Bike Barn student manager Steve Burkel said there will be between 10 and 15 working during the yard sale. Both registers will also be open.
“We’ll be trying to get people in and out as fast as possible,” Burkel said.
The Bike Barn is not dependent on this yard sale as a vital source of income, Burkel said. Instead, it is an ideal opportunity to get rid of last year’s models and start fresh.
The sale will last from today through Wednesday during the Bike Barn’s normal business hours – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The barn is located between the Silo and the Chemistry building.
