Chaucer once observed, it is not hard to see that spring, a myriad of
allergens and love, is in the air full-swing. With things as they are,
I can’t help but witness couples indulging in public displays of
affection around campus.

My roommate Yvette was out at dinner with our friend
Carrie, and I was waiting for them to return so we could figure out
what our Friday night adventures would entail. So I went through the
usual motions – did the dishes, read a few pages of a magazine and
finally noticed that our trash can was getting rather full. So I took
out the trash, and well … came back with a cat.

In the May 6 issue of The California Aggie, there were two errors in the “Ten questions with John Boe” interview. First, Boe did his undergraduate studies in Amherst, Mass. – not Ambers, Mass. Also, Boe is a lecturer in the University Writing Program, not the English department. The Aggie regrets the errors.

is and how it works. Of course, since most of us are academics, we try
to explain that to other people and we get into debates about that, so
we have scholarly discussions about whether one person is right in
their interpretation or not.

Yolo County considering cuts to mental health budget

Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Department in an attempt to balance the
department’s budget. ADMH has been among the county departments with the largest budget deficit for several years.

Justice. Showing no indifference to this statistic, Students Against
Sexual Violence (SASV) will be hosting UC Davis’ 27th annual “Women
Take Back the Night” today from 6:10 to 9 p.m. on the East Quad.
