ver the past year of writing this column, I’ve had the
opportunity to examine a wide variety of political and social
injustices, as well as see the action or, in most cases, the lack of
action that results. Seeing and experiencing all of these things has
caused me to formulate a hypothesis describing this process, sort of a
grand unifying political theory for the millennial generation, if you
will.

UC experts to discuss responses to rising gas prices

As gas prices continue to increase well above $4 per
gallon, experts are gathering at UC Davis to explore possible ways to
address the issues of gas and oil production. The UC Oil Forum is
hosting a seminar open to the public today at 7 p.m. in 66 Roessler.
Track and field season comes to a close at regionals

When the Aggies took the track at the NCAA Division I West Region Track
and Field Championships in Northridge this weekend, they already had
their sights set on Des Moines, Iowa – home of the NCAA Championships. With the regional now in the books, the team can officially look toward
Des Moines. But unfortunately, no Aggie will be making the trip past
Northridge this season.
Senate approves ASUCD budget

2008-2009 school year as of Thursday’s senate meeting. The budget, in
bill form, was passed unanimously.

After four (or five) years, you’ll finally be a college graduate! I
would say congratulations, but you’ve got a few finals left, and I
don’t want to jinx it. I know you’re worried about failing that French
3 class you put off taking until your very last quarter.
