Hundreds of UC Davis students gather to protest ICE

Hundreds of UC Davis students walked out of class for the national ICE OUT strikes on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. Demonstrators gathered at the Memorial Union at noon to protest against the actions of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and stand in solidarity with Minnesota, which has been experiencing an intense surge in ICE activity.
