A 22-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds over Picnic Day weekend and was sent to Sutter Davis Hospital. Police arrived at the hospital at 2:28 a.m. on April 19 after hospital staff noticed the nature of the wounds. The man was later transported to UC Davis Medical Center to treat his injuries, according to Davis Police.
After investigation, Davis Police Department concluded that the stabbing occurred around the 700 block of 3rd St. nearby local businesses Shipwrecked Tiki Bar and Red 88. Officials said that as of 1 p.m. on Sunday, the man is in serious but stable condition. Davis Police Department declined to comment further on the situation.
