Amtrak hit, kills woman near Davis

Tuesday at approximately 4:50 a.m. a Westbound Amtrak passenger train hit a pedestrian. According to Union Pacific Railroad, the collision occurred near County road 105 and County road 32A near Davis. Amtrak resumed transportation at around 9:15 a.m. The Yolo County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the fatality.
