ASUCD Fall Kickoff event free for students

ASUCD and the Entertainment Council arejumpstartingfall quarter with a free informational and entertainment event today at5p.m.in Freeborn Hall. Fall Kickoff will feature live performances for the first1,000students at Freeborn Hall by The Matches,Zion I,San Quinn,Random Abiladeze,Mobility and the Lounge Lizards as well as tabling information by ASUCD units.

Don’t be shocked when all the Coffee House employees are wearing tie-dye on Monday – it’s just how the Coffee House is celebrating its40thbirthday. “People might be a little freaked out,when they look up at the cashier,” said special events intern Cecilia Landholt,who was responsible for much of the planning. “But we’re just getting the word out about our40th anniversary and sending a big thank you to all of our customers and employees.”

the introduction of a new channel on the MyUCDavis website today. The new channel,called My Student Government (MSG),will
appear on the bottom left-hand corner of all undergraduate homepages
