The sophomore had topped the school-recordtime in the100-meter hurdles for three straight weeks,including a time of13.80seconds at the Causeway Classic Dual last week,but unavailable wind readings kept her program mark at13.96.

Trailing late into games has been a season-long habit the Aggies are trying to kick. This past weekend, UC Davis (29-16, 9-6) overcame two late deficits to take a crucial weekend series from No. 23 Long Beach State (27-17, 9-6) and stay in the contention for a postseason birth.

The UC Davis women’s lacrosse team took its fifth seed in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation into last week’s conference championships to face the fourth-seeded Oregon Ducks. If UC Davis was to win,it would move on to face No.1seedDenver on Thursday in thesemi-finals.With a loss,it would have to settle for a rematch with St.Mary’s for the second time in12days to determine the fifth-place finisher.

Women’s rowing UC Davis loves beating Sacramento State, no matter the sport. TheAggiewomen’s rowing team won four out of five races against their rivals from across the Causeway to win the Jean Runyon Cup for the second-straight year.
