The UC Davis football team announced its 2011 schedule on Monday.
The Aggies’ season is highlighted by trips to Hawaii, Arizona State and future Big Sky Conference foe Montana State.
The 2011 campaign begins at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. on Sep. 2 when the Aggies take on Sun Devils.
UC Davis will have five home games, including Great West foe North Dakota State on Nov. 12. The home opener for the Aggies will be Sep. 17 when the Toreros from the University of San Diego travel to Aggie Stadium.
UC Davis will host Division II Humboldt State on Oct. 8. For Homecoming on Oct. 15, the Aggies will host University of Texas, San Antonio. The 2011 season will be the inaugural football campaign for the UT San Antonio Roadrunners.
The Aggies will host rival Cal Poly on Nov. 5 in the annual Battle for the Golden Horseshoe. UC Davis will travel across the Causeway to take on Sacramento State in the 58th annual Causeway Classic.
This will be the Aggies’ last season as a member of the Great West Conference and coach Bob Biggs is looking to leave with a conference title.
