Professor attacked in Egypt

Noha Radwan, an assistant professor of comparative literature, was attacked in Cairo last Wednesday, according to Democracy Now! Radwan was leaving an interview with the organization when she was confronted and attacked near Tahrir Square.

“I’m fine now, and I actually really wanted to give this report as a minor, you know, firsthand testimony to what is happening,” Radwan told Democracy Now! “What has happened to others is a lot more.”

Radwan currently teaches Communication 25: Ethnic Minority Writers in World Literature.
