The only regret the UC Davis women’s basketball team has regarding senior Heidi Heintz is that she wasn’t with them all four years of her playing career.
That fact, however, will not diminish what the Spokane, Wash. native brought to the Aggies during her final season.
In a year that featured many milestones, Heintz was a central figure.
She averaged 9.5 points per-game and led the team with 87 assists this season.
Heintz also became the 15th player in UC Davis history to score 1,000 points in a career.
For her performance this season Heintz was named to the all Big West Conference Second-Team and was also name to the Big West’s All-Tournament Team.
“She does a little bit of everything,” said coach Sandy Simpson. “She’s the glue that holds our team together.”
