San Diego native Linda Hermann is without question one of the finest swimmers UC Davis has produced.
Hermann capped off her Aggie career by propelling UC Davis to the inaugural Mountain Pacific Sports Federation team title. At the MPSF Championships earlier this month, Hermann finished second in the 200-backstroke with a time of 1:59.93. She was also a member of the 400-freestyle relay team that set a UC Davis school record.
Hermann continuously found herself at the top of the podium this season. She came in first place in eight events in the Aggies’ four conference matches.
This season capped off a dominating UC Davis career for Hermann.
She has competed in 10 conference final events in her first three years, and has won four of those events in addition to many dual team victories and conference titles in her senior year. Hermann was named to the Big West Winter All-Academic team in 2009.
