This year is UC Davis' 100th birthday, so it is only natural that Picnic Day's parade marshals represent the ushering in of a new century of tradition.
The UC Davis 2009 Picnic Day all-student Board of Directors has announced that this year's parade marshals will be Bob Black and Gabriella Wong, a former and current UC Davis student.

In the Feb. 19 special issue The Best of Davis, the article "Best Open Mic" had an error for the first place winner. The article states the ASUCD Coffee House was tied for first place with Bistro 33. The article should have said that Memorial Union venues were tied for first place with Bistro 33. The Aggie regrets the error.

The mission of this clinic is to provide culturally and linguistically sensitive primary care to the uninsured population in the greater Sacramento area, including Filipino WWII Veteranos. The Clinic is looking for students from any major and background who are dedicated to helping people from diverse populations.
Surely you have seen us around. On the sidelines, at the concerts, in classrooms, at the MU - here, there and everywhere. We crouch, we jump, we lean, but mostly we are known to hold a camera up to our eyes to take photos.

Lecture on the language of the Incas

Listen to Rodolfo Cerrón-Palomino, a professor of linguistics, lecture on the secret language of the elite class of Incas who inhabited the Cuzco valley. The lecture will be in Spanish, and there will be a question and answer in English, Spanish and Quechua.
To some students, summer is a time for drinking lemonade by the pool. For students like Renata Filler, summer means exploration.
Last summer, Filler traveled to Russia with the UC Davis Summer Abroad Program, which offers 40 study abroad programs taught by faculty in 28 different countries, including South Africa, Argentina, Japan and France.
