Eating out for cheap

Students' budgets never quite make the cut with all of the expenditures related to a college lifestyle. But basic survival needs, like eating, shouldn't be on the list of things students can't do.

It was almost 1 a.m. on a Tuesday and I found myself alone on campus with a flashlight and my camera. With only clues like "The dungeon beyond the Harry Potter reading room" and "An overflowing fountain provides a river of hope, maybe you'll get that financial aid to cope" to guide me, I was on the prowl.

Teach For America (TFA), a national non-profit organization, sends college graduates to teach in urban and rural areas in an attempt to end educational inequity. TFA enlists the nation's future leaders in the struggle for educational equality for students from low-income areas throughout the United States.

New scheduling system for Health Center

Once upon a few months ago, if a student woke up with a sore throat and fever, they would have to argue themselves hoarse with the appointment desk in an attempt to be seen that day.

Now, with the Cowell Student Health Center's new Open Access System, if a student wakes up feeling ill on a Monday, they can see a doctor that same Monday.
